NAME THE NEW TDA MASCOT!!Hendersonville, NC – The Four Seasons Rotary Club has adopted a new Mascot for the 14th Annual Tour d’Apple cycling event which will take place on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. This stuffed brown bear wearing a cycling Tour d’Apple jersey will travel along the route with our own cyclist enthusiast Rotary member, Dick Miley. However, before our Mascot sets out on the route and also visits our sponsors, it needs a name. We need your help! Everyone is welcome to submit an entry to either [email protected] or on Facebook at Tour d’Apple Bicycle Tour by 4/4/2026. The winner will choose between a free entry for the Tour d’Apple or an equivalent gift card. Please include your telephone number in your submission.
For more than 45 years, members of the Four Seasons Rotary Club have contributed time, talents and monetary donations to help make Henderson County a better place to live, work and raise a family. Each year, Four Seasons Rotary coordinates and hosts the Tour D’Apple cycling event on Labor Day, raising significant funds to support local programs. Upwards of 500 cyclists from near and far have the opportunity to participate in one of four scenic routes around the apple orchards and beautiful Mountains of Henderson County.
The Four Seasons Rotary Club has 29 members and is part of Rotary District 7670 and Rotary International. The group represents a cross-section of businesses and professions in Henderson County and encourages members to participate in service to others as part of the club activities. The club meets on Monday at 5:30 p.m. (please check the schedule) at Janitzio’s (1053 Spartanburg Highway) in Hendersonville. Guests who would like to learn more about Rotary are always welcome.
