TouchDesigner Meetup: TD Tools for All, Creating Visuals with LOPs

TDBCN Monthly Meetup: The Global Community (and human-AI community) in TouchDesigner.

Step into the world of TouchDesigner with the TDBCN community! This month, we're featuring three artists who are building tools for the community to support artists.

Our speakers:

• Dan Molnar (Function Store) will share recent work on community tools he's built (he has a lot!), and also discuss his views on the global TD open source community.
• Sandy Gomez and Hector Trujillo will share a tool that focuses on using LLMs in TD (using LOPs) to help hone in and develop your artistic style, without the distraction of overstimulation. They specifically want the community's opinion on how to continue developing this tool to be most useful to VJs, visual artists, and other TD users.

The talks will be accompanied by time to ask questions, and learn more about how TouchDesigner is used in these different contexts. As usual, we will have time for networking before and after the talks to get to know the community, and open projectors where people can casually show work, ask questions, and jam around a bit.

¡Adéntrate en el mundo de TouchDesigner con la comunidad de TDBCN! Este mes, contaremos con tres artistas que están creando herramientas para que la comunidad apoye a otros artistas.

• Dan Molnar (Function Store): Compartirá sus trabajos más recientes en herramientas comunitarias (¡tiene muchísimas!) y nos dará su visión sobre la comunidad global de código abierto en TD.
• Sandy Gomez y Hector Trujillo: Presentarán una herramienta centrada en el uso de LLMs en TD (usando LOPs) para ayudarte a pulir y desarrollar tu estilo artístico sin las distracciones de la sobreestimulación. Les interesa específicamente la opinión de la comunidad sobre cómo seguir desarrollando esta herramienta para que sea lo más útil posible para VJs, artistas visuales y otros usuarios de TD.

Las charlas irán acompañadas de un tiempo para preguntas y para profundizar en cómo se utiliza TouchDesigner en estos distintos contextos. Como es habitual, tendremos un espacio de networking antes y después de las presentaciones para conocernos, además de proyectores abiertos donde cualquiera puede mostrar su trabajo de forma casual, hacer preguntas o simplemente improvisar un poco.

• Sandy Gomez i Hector Trujillo: Presentaran una eina centrada en l’ús de LLMs a TD (utilitzant LOPs) per ajudar-te a polir i desenvolupar el teu estil artístic, sense la distracció de la sobreestimulació. Volen saber específicament l’opinió de la comunitat sobre com seguir desenvolupant aquesta eina perquè sigui el més útil possible per a VJs, artistes visuals i altres usuaris de TD.

Les xerrades aniran acompanyades d’un torn de preguntes per aprendre més sobre com s’utilitza TouchDesigner en aquests diferents contextos. Com és habitual, tindrem temps per fer networking abans i després de les xerrades per conèixer la comunitat, i també hi haurà projectors oberts on tothom podrà ensenyar el seu treball de manera informal, fer preguntes o simplement fer una mica de "jam".
