Expect iconic tunes, big energy and a brilliant atmosphere as we come together to celebrate the decade of shoulder pads, blue mascara and unforgettable pop classics. 80s fancy dress or accessories optional!
We’re raising money to support Upper Norwood Rec, helping to nurture and protect this much-loved green space for the whole community. Every penny from your tickets will go directly towards improving the park, thanks to the wonderful team at Antenna, who have generously donated their brilliant venue for free.

About the DJ...
The Wilkybar Kid, a.k.a Colin Wilkie-Jones has DJ'd at many local community events including Crystal Palace Festival, Friends of Upper Norwood Rec summer parties, and Rockmount Primary School summer fairs, as well as being a former resident DJ at Domali which used to hold legendary parties back in its day.
About Friends of Upper Norwood Recreation Ground...
Friends of the Rec was set up as a community group in October 2022 by a group of local volunteers who felt it was important to protect and nurture this beautiful parkland and leisure space which is loved by so many but had become neglected in recent years.
Since then the group has achieved many great things including planting over 300 young trees, 700 bulbs, and various shrubs at our monthly community volunteer days and in our team sessions. Not to mention keeping the park free of litter! The group has also run two community pond digging days and have put up many bird and bat boxes decorated by locals. Residents have been supported to buy four benches and the latest addition is a big picnic table for eight people! New football goal posts are coming soon, and we would love to continue making improvements to this wonderful space.
