Total acceptance, Total freedom: A meditation workshop

Saturday, March 14 - 10:00am to 12:30pm

We all want lasting freedom from problems and pain. The possibility of this happening can only develop within a clear, open and patient mind.

As we all know, normally our need to escape from unpleasant feelings is so urgent that we become impatient and reactive and we do not give ourself the time to discover where our suffering is actually coming from. We think that things should be different from the way they are. We blame circumstances or other people for our unhappiness.

What we need is the clarity and spaciousness of mind to see what is really binding us. Patient acceptance enables us to undo our suffering and creates the space for practical solutions to arise.

Guided meditations are included, and light refreshments will be offered during the break. This event is ideal for both newcomers and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.

Location: This event will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston, located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. There is free parking available.

Registration: $30. In advance at: https://www.meditationinboston.org/total-acceptance-total-freedom
