The Confluence Center (Western Montana's Home for Nonprofit Events) art program Torrents is thrilled to present a magical evening of art, music, and community! To celebrate Zombie Awareness Month, we offer up a ghoulish group exhibit asking the real, deep question: What is a zombie, really? Upend your expectations of everything you thought you knew about the darker sides of ourselves and be immersed in a colorfully disturbing exhibit! Featuring a variety of work from artists local and national:
Abigail Gergasko, Adam Miller, Haig Demarjian, Amanda Kaye Bielby, Andrew Maillard, Anwen Cruikshank, April Wolff, Brett “Dizzie” Allen, Dan Gay, Danielle Nyland, Dianne Beesley, Elisha Harteis, Ivette Kjelsrud, John Piacquadio, Jennifer Baylis, Jonathan Qualben, Julee Hall, Ladypajama, Lillian Nelson, Kim Brown Campbell, Kimberly Foiles, Madelaine Hunter Millar, Maia Hangas, Mark Matthews, Nancy Rishoff, Natalie Millar, Xeze, and Zoe Beggin.
Also featuring:
-DJing throughout the night + a wild musical performance by Oliver Harlan, 6:15-7:15.
- Premier of the short film “Until Your Last Breath” directed by Jozlyn Baumann at 8pm!
Opening reception will be First Friday, May 1st, 5-8:30pm at the Confluence Center at 119 W Main St, Missoula, MT. Also featuring live music by Oliver Harlan! ZOMBIES! will remain on display through May 29th and can be seen by appointment through the Confluence Center: 406-926-6526. There will also be a Closing Reception held on Saturday, May 29th, 6-8pm.
