Join Us for an Exclusive Ride!
It has never been a better time to bike in Toronto! Hop on your bike and ride with Toronto’s Bicycle Mayor, Chief Planner and top transportation experts for an insightful and fun in-person bike ride. Discover the city's urban transformation through its cycling and city building projects from the people that are shaping Toronto's public spaces.
The group will be riding a 17 km loop in central Toronto, making 8 stops to learn about some of the infrastructure projects that are revitalizing the city.
9:45 am - Registered riders gather
10:00 am - Word of welcome and beginning of bike tour:
- Love Park and the Work of Claude Cormier
- The New Quayside Neighbourhood
- The New Ookwemin Minising Island and Biidaasige Park
- New Cycletracks – Don Roadway & Commissioners Rd.
- The Sherbourne & Richmond Bike Lanes
- The Future John Street Cultural Corridor
- Downtown Parks, POPs and Public Realm
- The New Portland and Dan Leckie Bike Lanes
12:30 pm - Ride ends. Learn about being a Bicycle Mayor over a casual and social picnic in roundhouse park.
Good to know
We encourage all participants to wear a helmet; however, they are mandatory (and the law) for people 16 years and under, and for those riding e-bikes. All participants must have a working bell.
Dress for the weather. Bring water, sunscreen and snacks.
For those interested in learning about the Global Bicycle network and having a picnic after the ride, bring food for yourself, or to share, along with the necessary cutlery and dishware.
