A night of punky, grungy, rock'n'roll.TORANA are three Gen X suburban reptiles from Auckland, New Zealand. They play loud, fuzzed-out rock’n’roll that wrenches influences from The Stooges, late seventies punk and late eighties grunge. DEAD MURDUR BRIDES (DMBs) are a supergroup comprising members of Auckland bands Dead Contract, Murdur Wun & The Bridesmaids. They play covers - punk classics, Bowie, Velvets and more.
Added to the lineup is new Tauranga band, Resting Cat Face. Cobbled together from The Metrognomes, Liberated Squid and more, it is a rogue unit delivering punk rock snarl (or is that pun rock?). Guitar mayhem from noiseniks that should know better...
