Observational diagnosis is the cornerstone of the application of Chinese Medicine. The observation of the tongue has evolved to become a key tool in the examination of the body’s response to pathology. A woman’s menstrual/hormonal cycle is the result of the intricate physiological interconnectedness of the body’s organ systems, and when closely observed, this interplay is clearly reflected on the tongue.
In this largely visual lecture, Dr. Andrea Thorpe uses multiple case studies for a deep dive into the nuance and the subtleties of women’s hormonal physiology and how it is reflected on the tongue. In this course, you will learn how this diagnostic technique can better inform your discernment in the application of herbal formulations for menstrual pathologies.
