Timucua Opera Festival: "A Muskrat Lullaby". Composed by Edward Barnes and based on a book by Thacher Hurd called "Mama Don’t Allow " this fun show is a great way to introduce young kids to opera. In the story we are introduced to Miles a Muskrat tenor who loves to sing. He forms a singing group with his animal friends. However, when neighbors get annoyed by the groups practicing, the singing friends go to the swamp where trouble ensues at the alligator ball.
