Timucua Opera Festival: The Tender: From Eve’s Footsteps reimagines the story of the first woman through her own eyes. Using Jake Heggie’s Eve-Songs alongside poetry, narration, and choral works by composers including La Rocca, Walker, and Drum, The Helena Collective traces Eve’s awakening, from creation to self-knowledge, exile, and legacy. A meditation on shame, curiosity, and resilience, this immersive program honors the voice of womankind and the tenderness that remakes the world. The Helena Collective is six of the most beautiful female voices in Florida, and they use song cycles as the basis to create shows that speak of the woman's perspective.
