Experience an electrifying night of music with District5, an innovative wind quintet known for their distinct blend of powerful music and engaging storytelling. In their new show "To Hell and Back," District5 explores life's trials and triumphs through the course of a year, pairing pieces by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel with gripping contemporary works. In a special collaboration with Heard--an arts program for silent stories--spoken word artists recite thought-provoking original texts throughout the show that showcase both the impact of trauma and the journey to recovery. Artists will include Walker Valdez and former Alexandria Poet Laureate KaNikka Jakarta Mix.
