Bearing in mind the mission of his ancestors, Henry Sims Cohen in his final year of high school goes on a mission to go FUCKING CRAZY after breaking up with his boyfriend. What could go wrong?
After downloading Grindr and taking some tasteful nudes at his grandparents house, Henry meets an array of characters in the bedroom ranging in age, jobs, and registry status on the sex offender list. Yikes.
To All the Boys I’ve F***** Before traces Henry’s attempts to understand intimacy in a world where everything is public, performative, and permanent. He learns the only way he knows how: by messing up. Repeatedly.
Through rapid-fire storytelling and biting humor, this one person play interrogates everything from gay media tropes to internalized shame to the strange, invisible rules we inherit about sex, desire, and being seen.
