Tito will recount his recent climb of Phurbi Chyachu (6,637m) in the Jugal Himal, where we ascended the Japanese Spur in alpine style. The lecture will also explore the broader climbing history and untapped potential of this lesser-known Himalayan range, located relatively close to Kathmandu, highlighting its unique challenges and opportunities for future ascents.The talk will be held at the Alpine Club's premises at 55 Charlotte Road, EC2A 3QF and, as always, non-members are welcome to attend.
