As we prepare for our 2025 Annual General Meeting, we reflect on the year so far and thank our members and supporters for helping us with our shared mission: to preserve and celebrate Timaru’s unique built heritage.
We also invite nominations to join our team. If you’re passionate about heritage, community, and thoughtful civic leadership, we’d love to hear from you.
Have some exciting news, the archaeologists who are familiar with the Theatre Royal site have come on board as Civic Trust sponsors for our AGM and Debate event!
The AGM will be short and sweet, followed by students from Roncalli College debating - save our heritage or build new. A great opportunity to hear what our youth think.
Dr Hayen Cawte, the Managing Director of New Zealand Heritage Properties, will give his closing remarks on the topic. Which we think will be really interesting in itself.
Come along and hear our students perspectives on our built heritage. We would love to see you there.
