Join us as we officially launch Barrow’s Tidy Town Fest - The Big Barrow Clean Up , a week-long celebration of community spirit, civic pride, and the incredible organisations and volunteers who help keep Barrow beautiful.
We’re inviting people of all ages and abilities to gather at the iconic Town Hall for an uplifting start to the week. The Mayor will officially open the festival, setting the tone for a series of community clean‑ups across the town.
What to Expect:
- 10:00am Welcome & Launch with the Mayor Gather at the Town Hall steps as we kick off the festival together.
- Community Clean-Up Challenge Head out across Barrow to collect litter, tidy shared spaces, and help make our town shine.
- 12:00pm – Group Photo & Refreshments Return to the Town Hall for a celebratory photograph and some well‑earned refreshments with fellow volunteers.
Why It Matters:
This festival is all about restoring civic pride, supporting cleaner streets, and celebrating the groups and individuals who work year-round to make Barrow a place we’re proud to call home. By taking part, you’re helping create a town that supports walking, wheeling, cycling, gathering, socialising, and celebrating — a town that feels good to live in.
