About this Event
Welcome to the 9th Annual Alaska Yoga Festival! We are excited to hold a space where novice and seasoned yogis can join together to celebrate the breath and the balance of life. No experience is necessary to participate in this ALL DAY, ALL YOU CAN YOGA event!
From 9am to 6pm on Saturday, July 11th EVERY HOUR, ON THE HOUR choose from three + classes. Mainstage, one of the two Workshop tents or the Speciality Workshops! Mainstage is hosted with a headset microphone across a field of grass along the Chena River. Workshop tents are hosted in front of the Morris Thompson Center creating a focus on hands-on activities and dialogue. Some Workshops require quiet space for expereinces like sound healing and meditation while others take you for a walk on the wild side or include drumming that beats with your heart. There is something for everyone, including kids!
Our 2026 Non-Profit partner is The Resource Center for Parents and Children. Well known by their acronym, RCPC is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the Fairbanks community for over 50 years. RCPC offers a wide range of services to families and children, focusing on parenting, child development, behavioral health, and the prevention of child maltreatment. RCPC is a trusted resource for caregivers seeking assistance with fundamental needs such as safety, advocacy, education, and connections to vital community resources. RCPC strives to enhance the quality of life for families, ensuring they have the support they need. RCPC operates three core programs: Family Services, Stevieโs Place Child Advocacy Center, and Behavioral Health.
We partner up with local non-profits to highlight their contributions to our community, raise awareness of advocacy efforts and finically give on behalf of Alaska Yoga Festival. Your attendance goes to support this non-profit. Thank you!

Want more YOGA? ADDITIONAL FRIDAY, JULY 10th WORKSHOPS are available this year! These Workshops are hosted around Fairbanks at different businesses, studios, clinics and eateries. Most of these "Add-Ons" come at an additonal cost as they are more than an hour and have material costs. As we build more relationships across the community, we are adding more to the Friday Workshop line up. Check your email for more information as we gather these Workshops!
Want to look the best in our 2026 AKYOGAFEST Swag? This years Mandala was created by Emma Benjamin of Fairbanks. Emma is born and raised in Fairbanks. She is a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist that enjoys doodling in her free time. Emma teaches movement ranging from Aerial Arts to Mat Pilates. Pre-purchase your swag online or in-person at LUMI Coffee Bar in Fairbanks. Additional swag will be availiable at the event in limited sizes and quantities.
