The Drepung Gomang Tibetan monks, traveling as part of the Sacred Art Tour, will be constructing a sand mandala in the lobby at the Lawrence Arts Center.Refugee-created merchandise will be available. Proceeds benefit the 2,000 monks at Drepung Gomang Monastery in Mundgod, South India.
Visitors can also view the work any time during regular Lawrence Arts Center hours. Please join us to observe the creation of this beautiful mandala any time during the following hours:
Opening Mandala Ceremony: Tuesday 12/3 6PM
