Join the KU Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (SEEES) Club for an event on fortune telling in Slavic folklore on Tuesday December 4 at 4pm in Bailey Hall rm. 318.In this special session, we'll explore the Slavic folkloric practices of winter divination. We'll hear from Prof. RB Perelmutter about the Slavic winter holidays and the fortune-telling customs for love and marriage, health, weather, and so much more.
After the lecture, those who want to try their hand at divination will have a chance to do so in a mini-workshop led by Dr. Megan Luttrell of the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREES).
