Come join us in the downstairs Meeting Room C at The Lawrence Public Library (707 Vermont St, Lawrence, KS 66044) - Every other Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:30 PM for the Miller Retirement Group Grief Support Circle, to find comfort, understanding, and support from other folks who have had similar experiences.Losing a loved one is difficult, and we understand the pain you're going through. Our group seeks to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals who are grieving. We believe that sharing your story and emotions can be healing, and our group is a judgment-free zone where you can do just that. Whether you've recently lost someone or are still coping with a loss from years ago, we're here for you.
At our in-person group circle, you'll have the opportunity to connect with others who have experienced similar losses. Our compassionate facilitators will guide discussions that aim to help you navigate the grieving process, the sessions will be led by counsellor Marcia Epstein (https://marciaepstein.biz/counseling-services/counseling-services-grief/) and Miller Retirement Group's Ian Cook.
There is no cost to attend, seating is limited to keep our group small and allow everyone time to share. We will focus on the grief of loss of life or disappearance and will prioritize attendance over other types of grief based on group capacity.
Together, we can take steps towards healing and finding hope amid grief. We look forward to gathering with you and walking alongside you on this journey.
