We will be meeting at the start of the Mother Road, Route 66 to sketch the beginning of this fabulous route. It's the 100 year anniversary and there will be an exhibition in Tulsa, OK. and here in Chicago in October (details later for Chicago Exhibition) We will first sketch in and around the Art Institute where the route begins, there are start signs and an official marker. These sketches will be entered into the exhibition in Tulsa, OK. Of course you don't have to enter but it's always fun to exhibit your work.
If you choose to enter your sketches, you will be responsible for filling out a form and mailing your sketches directly to the place listed in the pdf. Your will be creating high quality prints, not your original. ALL INFO ON WHAT, WHERE AND HOW TO SUBMIT WILL BE IN POSTED IN THE DISCUSSION AREA.
The deadline to submit is June 30th.
