Angie Coyle Quartet Bio:
Angie Coyle is a saxophonist, flutist, composer, and educator based in Cincinnati. She currently has one album out under her name entitled "Far From Home," that is made up entirely of her compositions. Her music is melody-driven, emotive, and inventive - always riding the line between the expected and the unexpected. Through her music she aims to take listeners on a journey.
Angie is a 2018 CCM graduate with a Master's degree in jazz studies. She also has a Bachelor of Music degree in saxophone performance from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where she studied classical and jazz saxophone as well as classical flute and clarinet.
The Angie Coyle Quartet features Angie Coyle on tenor sax and flute, Ben Tweedt on piano, Peter Gemus on bass, and Ethan Kimberley on drums.
