We’re starting the weekend early, the best way we know how, with a room full of laughter, down in The Pub. For our final Rockwater Comedy Night of the season, the space once again becomes a cosy, dimly lit comedy club: low lighting, great drinks, and a line-up designed to end the season on a high.
Arrive from 7.30pm to get comfortable. Bar snacks will be available to purchase in The Pub, or book a table in the Bar & Kitchen beforehand and ease into the evening.
From 8.00pm, the lights dim and the laughs begin.
Your host for the evening is Mike Cox, an award-winning comedian who will be your MC for the night. Expect sharp hosting, quick wit, and the kind of easy energy that sets the tone from the very first laugh.
Opening the night is Marlon Davis, star of Live at the Apollo and one of the UK circuit’s most compelling voices. A sharp, charismatic performer with a natural gift for storytelling, Marlon has been described by The Guardian as “a masterful storyteller.”
Also on the bill is Nick Everritt, bringing his droll, self-aware take on stand-up. His smart, witty style has earned praise from Chortle for “a droll, witty and very self-conscious deconstruction of comedy.”
Headlining the evening is Paul Tonkinson, star of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and one of the most electrifying performers on the UK comedy circuit. With boundless energy and razor-sharp timing, Paul is a true live comedy powerhouse, described by Time Out as “excellent… extremely talented… brilliant.”
