Thursday Night Coffeehouse is a celebration of up to four local and touring artists coming together in an intimate, coffeehouse setting at the venerable Artichoke Community Music. It is a wonderful opportunity to hear artists of all levels in a listening room setting. It is also important to note that each artist is donating their performance to contribute to Artichoke's mission. Because of this we encourage our audiences to tip the performers if they are able. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and light snacks are available for purchase at the bar. Doors - 6:30pm

Wild Embers--
One fateful September day on Craigslist, these two souls met over a music ad. India, a former blues singer raised on a healthy diet of hippie jam sessions with punk undertones, called out for a woman to play guitar and sing uplifting, harmony-driven acoustic music. Nikki, otherwise known as the Rock n Roll Fairy to her music students, and long time songwriter and guitar player, answered that call. The rest is music blisstory! They enjoy nerding out on harmonies, feeling moved by stories of spirit and discovery through music, and exploring this new era of life and music together. Catch them singing love songs at weddings, transition songs at funerals, customized covers as singing telegrams, and at house concerts and intimate venues. They hope you enjoy the richness of harmony and story as much as they do.

Vince Radostitz and Kacey Farrens--
A Modern Folk Lounge Act
Vince Radostitz might be called a late bloomer or maybe a latecomer to the singer/songwriter game. A lifelong singer and guitar player, he has only in the last few years started writing and sharing his own songs. His songs are lyrically driven, heartfelt, and occasionally clever, at least in his mind. Vince’s original tunes show the influence of John Prine, Jason Isbell, Bruce Springsteen, and his many other musical heroes. When singing with musical partner Kacey Farrens, tight vocal harmonies are always on offer.

Two best friends playing original songs with intricate musicianship and harmonies.
13th & Louis is a folk duo made up of Kristin Bond and Luke Lillard. Both multi-instrumentalists and singer/songwriters, they enjoy trading instruments and letting each other take the lead. Their songs range from playful to heart wrenching, and everything in between, embracing what it is to be fully human.
