On Thursday, the 7th of May, we are taking over NOHO for a night of 100+ singles ready to meet, mingle, and make some magic happen, this time with a little help from Matchbox. How it works:
Upon arrival: scan the QR code at the door and answer a 60-second questionnaire built by Matchbox’s Team of Relationship Scientists and curated by your Host.
While you mingle, sip, and flirt, the Matchbox Algorithm quietly works behind the scenes — combining relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics — to find your most compatible matches.
Throughout the night, you’ll receive a few playful clues via SMS or WhatsApp to help you narrow down who your match might be. To find your match, open your match reveal page and tap “Message Your Match.”
You will receive 3 matches throughout the night! That’s when conversations turn into connections… and maybe a little more.
Your 2nd and 3rd matches could be anywhere in the room!
The flow:
→ 7:00pm— Event Begins
→ 8:00pm — Questionnaire closes and 1st Group Drops
→ 8:20pm — 1st Match Revealed
→ 8:35pm — 2nd Group Drops
→ 8:55pm — 2nd Match Revealed
→ 9:10pm — 3rd Group Drops
→ 9:30pm — 3rd Match Revealed
→ 9:45pm — Continue the convo or meet someone new
→ 12:00pm — The event closes.
✨ What to Expect
You’ll meet a great group of singles.
Your match is designed to be values-aligned, not love at first sight.
There’s zero pressure — be curious, have fun, and be kind.
If there is an imbalance, you may receive a platonic match.
You’ll get Matchbox event updates from a dedicated phone number during the event.
Q: What if I don’t get a match? A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, within the next 2 months of the event.
