About the artist:
Ellah Vaughn is a 21 y/o guitarist and vocalist from Rutherford, NJ. Named after the illustrious Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn, Ellah’s whole life has been immersed in music. At age 6 she started guitar lessons and at age 10 vocal and guitar classes at programs like JAZZ HOUSE KIDS and NJPAC. At age eighteen (18) Ellah received the opportunity to perform at the Monterey Jazz Festival with the Monterey Jazz Orchestra instructed by Gerald Clayton. At age 21 Ellah has performed all around the New York, New Jersey and DC music scenes at venues like The Apollo Theatre, The Django, Minton’s Playhouse, The Aman, NJPAC, and The National Cherry Blossom Festival. Ellah’s aspiration in life is to help and inspire others with music.
