Whether you’re completely new to the pottery wheel or just want to improve your skills, this session is a great way to get to grips with clay on the wheel.You will learn the fundamentals to throwing starting with preparing your clay, centering clay and how to create a cylinder. You will have time to practise these techniques before moving onto shaping forms in the afternoon. Looking at bellying out and necking in and bowls
What you need to know:
You will get select 3 to 4 pieces from your creations and choose a glaze to added once fired.
• Maximum of 4 students
• £180 each inc all materials and firing
• 10.00 to 4pm
• All work will be dried, fired and ready to collect at a later date
• Please note: lunch is not included, but there is a variety of shops and cafes in Poole for you to explore
