๐h๐ซe๐ ๐i๐ฅl๐ขo๐ง ๐e๐ญt๐r๐ฌ is a dynamic theatrical performance happening at the intersection of art and science. Created from the team's personal DNA test results, the show mixes data and text to investigate how heritage defines us, taking a look into health predispositions, self worth, and biological/cultural identities. How does knowing oneโs DNA influence our current reality and the path forward as we continue to build a sense of our existence? Could we change the way we see ourselves in relationship with the world around us?
The line between us is blurred, with 99.9% similarity, the seemingly insignificant becomes so powerful in what makes us us.

Testimonials
โThought provoking, you could see everyoneโs brain ticking and I began to question my perspective on genetics.โ
โSuch a lively experiment on how genetics apply to our social lives followed by interesting discussions.โ
โReally did a good job of blending science with stories.โ
โIt was rare to see theatre like this so alive with the audience.โ
Praise for Past Work
โThey challenge the status quo chest first, testing the limits and the very concept of a play to introduce ideas like naked existentialism, romantic disillusionment, unilateral desire, gender expectations, cultural demands, and the juxtaposition of perception and realityโ. โ Cindy Marcolina for Broadway World U.K.
โItโs safe to say that TAKDAJAโs work sits comfortably in the realm of the abject โ that which we eject but still cannot look away fromโ โ Jake Mace for Binge Fringe Magazine
