Thompson Family Forever Wild Preserve Trail WorkdayFriday May 6 from 9am – 12pm
What: Rerouting a section of trail. Heavy lifting may be required. If time permits, we may also clear overgrown vegetation and re-blaze portions of the trail.
Where: Thompson Family Forever Wild Preserve. Eastford Rd., Southbridge MA
Directions: Heading South on Elm St in Southbridge, take a right on Eastford Road. Follow the road for 2 miles; the trail head will be on your right, just south of Dennison Drive. You can also type 904 Eastford Rd, Southbridge into your GPS.
Parking: There is limited parking for four or five cars along the edge of the road. Use extra caution when entering and exiting your vehicle.
* Please bring water, sturdy close-toed shoes, layers for warmth, orange clothing for safety during hunting season. Also bring work gloves, clippers, loppers, hand saws, and rakes if you have them.
