ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Paintings that move us deeply and delight us the most are the ones that capture a feeling and mood that is meaningful, familiar, and powerful. This workshop is all about learning to capture the mood of moments we experience where the light, the people, the place, and the point in time create feeling and memory. By looking to deeply evocative art of the past, reflecting on what is meaningful to each person, and delving into the exciting possibilities of color & light, the physicality of materials, and orchestrating design, Thomas Caleb Goggans will lead each attendee in understanding how to capture their special images. Through demonstrations, info loaded conversations, visual inspiration, and personal guidance, participants will learn about developing a clear vision, obtaining quality reference, intentional planning, and achieving meaningful artwork in this three-day workshop with an additional bonus video session included.
