Date: Third Saturday of every month (some exceptions)
Location: 967 College Street (go through to the back room)
SCHEDULE
7:00 to 7:45 – Intermediate Class
7:45 to 8:30 – Beginner Class
8:30 to midnight – Dance Party
BEGINNER WEST COAST SWING CLASS
The target audience for this class is new dancers who are not yet familiar with the basic patterns and concepts of WCS.
This class is meant for you if:
- You are brand new to WCS
- You are familiar with the basic WCS patterns and want to learn the other role (leading/following)
- You have some experience with WCS and want to revisit fundamental concepts
INTERMEDIATE WEST COAST SWING CLASS
The target audience for this class is experienced WCS dancers who are ready to go beyond the basics and start to explore advanced patterns and concepts. This will not be your usual “intermediate” class. Expect to be challenged and introduced to concepts that you may not master your first time around.
This class is meant for you if:
- You are a seasoned WCS dancer who has been dancing and learning for many years
- You are familiar with (and able to consistently execute) basic WCS patterns such as pushes, passes, whips, double turns, extensions, etc.
PRICING
New in 2025: FREE on your first visit and FREE if you’re bringing someone for their first time
$10 for one or both classes
$15 for the dance party
Free for community leaders and All Star+ dancers (please contact us if you are not sure if you quality)
$5 discount with a student ID or if you travelled more than 50 km to get here
