About this Event
Part 2 of 2 - Vibrational Practices Series
In a cave in Indonesia, a painting was recently discovered that is estimated to be nearly 68,000 years old! Scientists were able to estimate the age of the painting because they could carbon date the pigments used to create the paintings! This class celebrates yet another way that plants can improve and beautify human lives. In this class we will use pre-made botanical inks to paint pictures. Participants will see a demonstration of how to make these pigments, walk through the garden to discover herbs and flowers that can be used for paints and dyes, and go home with fresh plant material that can be used to make their own inks.
