Joe Machol is a seasoned leader, educator, and WWII European Theatre historian with decades of experience in organizational leadership, emergency preparedness, and professional sports officiating.

Known for his dynamic personality, integrity, and strong work ethic, Joe has successfully led and developed organizations at both the state and local levels while mentoring hundreds of officials and volunteers throughout Texas.

A longtime NFL Game Clock Operator and football officiating leader, Joe has participated in multiple Super Bowls, playoff games, and collegiate conferences, while also serving in leadership positions focused on training, recruitment, and professional development for officials statewide.

Joe is also the proud son of World War II veteran Lieutenant Colonel Fred B. Machol, who served in the European Theatre of Operations from 1942 to 1945. Since 2003, Joe has traveled extensively with his father to the historic wartime locations where he served, gaining a unique and authentic understanding of WWII history.

Through WWII ETO Tours, Joe provides travelers with immersive historical experiences featuring expert guidance, historic site visits, museums, accommodations, and transportation—allowing guests to stand on the very ground where Allied forces fought to secure freedom for the world.

Recently, Joe became one of the 25 contributing authors of the bestselling book Entrepreneur Secrets, where he shares his insights, knowledge, and experiences from building his business, WW2 ETO Tours.
