About this Event
What’s everyone dreaming of for Christmas? No, not presents… Snow!
Pull on your Christmas jumper, throw on a Santa hat and come and get in the festive spirit. How is snow made? Why do we associate Christmas with snow? And is there anything we can do to make sure it snows on the 25th December?
Join University of Warwick's Ally Caldecote to explore the frozen world of snow and ice. Go on a whistlestop tour of temperature and investigate some crazy chemicals. There will be plenty of the festive fluffy stuff to get you in the sciencey Christmas mood.
With plenty of exciting demonstrations and experiments, we will delve into the wacky world of frozen water, fractals and why scientists make better snow queens than Elsa!
