Therapeutic Tea: Cultivating Rhythm, Intuition & Healing with Plants

Saturday, May 2, 2026

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Instructor: Lauren Tanner

This immersive workshop explores therapeutic tea as a daily practice - a simple, nourishing ritual that supports wellness, balance, and connection to the natural world.

Participants will learn about a selection of herbs traditionally used for restorative and therapeutic tea, including their benefits, flavor profiles, and how they feel in the body. We will discuss how to grow and harvest tea herbs at home, explore different methods of preparing herbal tea, and share practical ways to integrate tea into everyday routines for ongoing support.

The experience includes a guided tea tasting featuring individual plants and handcrafted tea blends that highlight many of the plants discussed in class, offering an opportunity to slow down, notice body responses, and build intuition around plant support. This class emphasizes consistency, presence, and cultivating a personal relationship with tea.

This class is suitable for beginners and experienced gardeners alike and is ideal for anyone seeking an accessible, grounded approach to herbal wellness and self-care at home.

Lauren will provide an herbal craft market at the end of class to purchase handcrafted herbal remedies for common ailments. Payment can be taken via Venmo, Zelle, or cash.

Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before or after class.
