About this Event

Join artist and writer Joey Simons for a second free translation workshop as part of his new Workers’ Theatre exhibition for Market Gallery opening this November .

Collectively we will work to translate and discuss revolutionary theatre texts and prepare playscripts for future performances. Drawing on traditions of working-class self-education, the ethics and contradictions of new translation technology, and debates on language and power, we will experiment with creating practical documents to play with and test.

No language skills needed – food and refreshments provided.
