About this Event
in this 2-hour class, we'll apply & explore a variety of movement containers/motifs/languages to the same short contemporary scene. specific scene TBA. attendees should expect to do a quick 15-mins physical warm-up (just for fun! and to model/teach an effective physical warm-up!) and to be in open dialogue with nicHi as she reveals new physical life in the same scene over and over again.

nicHi douglas is an AUDELCO and Princess Grace Award-winning Brooklyn-based experimental theater & dance maker who is interested in leading community care centered creative processes. you can refer to her/them/him/us using any pronouns said with Respect. they are an Assistant Arts Professor at NYU/Tisch where they teach dance & movement methodologies.
