Do you love reading and going to the theatre? Do you want to dig in deep to the original story before seeing its adaptation? This collaborative book club from Blackwell’s and Capital Theatres is just the thing to take you from page to stage and ignite some fascinating conversations.
Up first is Agatha Christie’s crime classic .
Winter 1934 and an avalanche stops The Orient Express dead in its tracks. A M**der. A train full of suspects. An impossible case. Trapped in the snow with a killer still on-board, can the world’s most famous detective, Hercule Poirot, crack the case before the train reaches its final destination?
Here’s how it’ll work:

- Show your book club ticket at Blackwell’s for a 15% discount on a copy of the book
- Get reading!
- On the day we’ll meet at Blackwell’s at 1.30pm to discuss the book
- We’ll head over to the Festival Theatre for the show at 2.30pm
- During the interval and after the show we’ll have a space to meet to continue the conversation and debrief about the show
