This slow, restorative Yin Yoga class is designed to help you pause, soften, and gently release tension held in the body. In Yin, postures are held for longer periods, giving you time to settle into each shape and allow the body to open gradually. This helps to ease stiffness, support the joints, and work into the deeper layers of the body in a calm and supported way. Nina will guide you throughout the session, helping you find a comfortable position in each posture and supporting you to use your breath to soften rather than push. There’s no expectation to go deep, this practice is about allowing your body to release in its own time.
The pace is slow and quiet, creating space to step away from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. Held in our peaceful Staffordshire studio, surrounded by open countryside, the space is softly lit with drapes, fairy lights, and a calming atmosphere to help you fully relax.
This class is suitable for both men and women and is ideal if you’re new to yoga, returning after some time away, or looking for a slower, more restorative practice. You’ll leave feeling calmer, more open, and deeply relaxed.
