The Write Stuff: Inside New York Review Books - May 13th at 6pm

Join us for the next installment of The Write Stuff at Barnes & Noble Philadelphia, a series created for aspiring authors looking to learn more about navigating the route from writing to publication. The Write Stuff provides advice for writers on a wide range of topics including general writing tips, writing for various genres, finding an agent and getting your work published.

We are very excited to welcome , author and Editorial Director of into the store to discuss the founding of the press, aquisitions process, and greatest success stories with our Store Manager Lynn Rosen.

The NYRB Classics series is dedicated to publishing an eclectic mix of fiction and nonfiction from different eras and times and of various sorts. The series includes nineteenth century novels and experimental novels, reportage and belles lettres, tell-all memoirs and learned studies, established classics and cult favorites, literature high, low, unsuspected, and unheard of. NYRB Classics are, to a large degree, discoveries, the kind of books that people typically run into outside of the classroom and then remember for life.

Edwin Frank was born in Boulder, Colorado, and educated at Harvard College and Columbia University. He is the editorial director of the NYRB Classics series and the author of Snake Train: Poems 1984–2013 and Stranger Than Fiction: Lives of the Twentieth-Century Novel.

Ticket holders will be granted a standing view from behind the seated audience -- some views may be more limited/obstructed than others.
