About this Event

We are proud to introduce The Write Stuff, a new series at Barnes & Noble Philadelphia created for aspiring authors looking to learn more about navigating the route from writing to publication. The Write Stuff provides advice for writers on a wide range of topics, including general writing tips, writing for various genres, finding an agent and getting your work published.

In this spooky installment of The Write Stuff, horror authors , , and share tips and tricks for aspiring horror authors, followed by a Q&A from the audience and concluding with a quick and fun writing exercise.

For Seated Tickets: Limited quantity is available and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchase of a ticket guarantees entrance to the event for the discussion and signing. However, this ticket may not necessarily guarantee a seat at the event, as later arrivals may be placed in a line behind the seated audience.

For Standing Room-Only Tickets: Limited quantity is available and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchase of a ticket guarantees entrance to the event for the discussion and signing. Ticket holders will be granted a standing view from behind the seated audience -- some views may be more limited/obstructed than others.

About the Authors:

is the Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Queen of Teeth, All the Hearts You Eat, A Light Most Hateful, and the forthcoming All the Hearts You Eat in October. She is also the author of over 100 short stories appearing in Weird Tales and other publications. She lives with her wife in Maryland, where they keep the supernatural a secret.
