About this Event
Wrexham is a vibrant city in north-east Wales, known for its fascinating mix of industrial heritage, historic landmarks and modern cultural life. Officially granted city status in 2022, Wrexham is a fast-emerging destination with a unique identity. With a proud past, Wrexham has a wealth of historic architecture, including buildings which would have been seen by Victorian and Edwardian visitors. On Saturday, 4th July, Wrexham Area Civic Society, in conjunction with the Liverpool Regional Group of the Victorian Society, will take us on a walking tour of significant buildings in the city centre, and we will hear the stories of those who designed and built them.
Meet at Wrexham Bus Station at 11am (LL11 1LF)
Organised by Nick Roe and members of the Wrexham Area Civic Society, as part of Wrexham’s Year of Wonder celebrations, see: https://wrecsam1876.co.uk/
