Join us Thursday, August 28th, 2025, at 6 PM for a night of cinematic disasters at Mama Dog Studios. Prepare to cringe, laugh, and maybe even cry at our second annual The Worst Film Festival screening!
TWFF is the usual film festival turned upside down - We showcase filmmakers’ self-submitted “worst work” and use the event to celebrate creative risk-taking to learn from each other’s experiences. Trying and failing is how we get better - let’s make it fun!
Arrive early to grab a seat, connect with other Bay Area film community members, and enjoy a brew from sponsor Oakland United Beerworks. Crafty will also be provided.
Doors open - 6:00 PM
Screening begins - 7:00 PM
*There will be 2 Q&A sessions with the filmmakers following each screening block; we encourage questions from our attendees!
*Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards supporting an upcoming project, chosen by YOU (the audience), from one of our screened filmmakers. Two awards will be given - The Worst of the Worst, and Audience Choice Worst.
