About this Event
You are cordially invited to the World’s First Sound Free Concert, a unique one-time event introducing original genAI music to an audience of Cochlear Implant users.
You’ve heard of silent discos, where the audience wears Bluetooth headphones, but this is the world’s first truly sound free concert – no live instruments, recordings, or amplification - just electronically-created music streamed direct to the auditory nerve, avoiding every aspect of what we would traditionally define as ‘sound’.
The concert will be structured into manageable 8-10 minute blocks, with each section devoted to a different musical genre. This ensures there will be music everybody can enjoy and also introduce the audience to genres they may not have heard easily before. A short Q&A and opportunities to talk about the concert with your fellow audience members will follow. The event is free for ticket-holders, refreshments will be provided, and BSL interpreters will be in attendance.
Due to the technological requirements of this cutting-edge event, tickets are reserved exclusively for Cochlear Implant users who wear an Advanced Bionics Marvel CI processor.
