MILC Law and Diplomacy Forum
The worlds of diplomacy and international law are distinct yet interdependent. Diplomatic dynamics cannot be fully understood without considering how states mobilise international law to advance their positions and projects. Similarly, the operations of international law are inseparable from the diplomatic processes that shape it. The newly launched MILC Law and Diplomacy Forum seeks to bridge these two worlds. This series will feature diplomats and government officials, particularly from the Global South, working on issues of socio-economic and political inequalities at international, regional, and transnational levels. Join MILC in fostering a dialogue between academics and practitioners in the worlds of diplomacy and law.
The inauguration of this series was supported by the Business Engagement and Knowledge Exchange at the University of Manchester.
