About this Event
SCHOOL OF DECANT: The World of CHENIN
Few grapes can match Chenin Blanc for range. From the mineral-driven still wines of Vouvray and Savennières, to the tropical styles gaining traction in California and South Africa, and the stunning sparkling wines, , Chenin is a grape that rewards exploration.
In this School of DECANT master class, we'll trace Chenin Blanc across its most important regions and styles: the Loire Valley, where it's been grown for centuries; South Africa's Swartland, where old-vine Chenin has found a second home; and the emerging California producers bringing a new perspective to the grape. Along the way, we'll cover how terroir, winemaking choices, and age shape what ends up in your glass.
Whether you're a seasoned wine professional or a curious drinker, this class will give you a framework for understanding — and appreciating — one of wine's most underrated grapes.
Thursday, May 7 · 6:30 PM · $55
