About this Event
This four-part workshop is an invitation for adults to slow down, get curious, and find your way back to yourself. No art experience necessary. Through gentle journaling, guided reflection, and hands-on creative art-making, you’ll begin to peel back the layers of who life has asked you to be and begin to rediscover who you actually are underneath it all.
Please note: this is not therapy. This is a creative and reflective experience designed to support self-exploration in a warm, welcoming space.
The four sessions are designed to build on each other. Each evening opens something new, and attending the sequence is part of the journey. Come curious. Leave with something you didn’t expect.
Why reconnect with your inner child?
- When old emotional wounds aren’t processed, they tend to show up as numbness, anxiety, shame, rumination, overthinking, judgement and self abandonment.
- Inner child work can offer emotional clarity, a moment to reflect on root emotions, and create a pause between triggers and response urgency.
- Many times in adulthood our inner critic gets way too loud. That voice was formed over decades out of necessity and it likely served you well... Until it didn’t.
- Inner child work can be a first step to beginning tender, supportive, and understanding dialogue with your precious self. You can begin treating yourself with the same love you’d offer a child.
- Creativity is a doorway back to ourselves but it’s often seen as frivolous, inconvenient, and time consuming. BUT when did you start to believe you’re not worthy of silliness and play, a minor inconvenience or even worth your own time?
- By engaging in inner child work you can move from surviving as a version of yourself that was shaped by necessity to living as a version of yourself that feels true and connected.

About Your Facilitator
Hi I’m Brittania!
I’ve been an artist my whole life but a professional visual artist since 2020.After a long season of burnout, I found myself turning to my creative practice in a new way. Not to produce. Not to perform. But to heal. Through daily journaling and a series of art projects I created for myself, I began the slow, tender work of reconnecting with who I am outside of my relationships, my roles, and my responsibilities. It changed something in me and I wanted to create a space for others to experience that too.I believe so many of us left our creativity behind in childhood, tucked away somewhere between growing up and taking care of everything and everyone else. This workshop is an invitation to get back to ourselves.I’m not a therapist, and this isn’t therapy. I’m an artist and a human who has done this work personally and I’m honored to hold space for you to begin yours.
