ABOUT THE AUTHOR
David Helvarg is an award-winning journalist and ocean advocate. He is the founder and executive director of Blue Frontier and author of seven books. He produces Rising Tide: The Ocean Podcast and has contributed to PBS, Marketplace, National Geographic, and The New York Times. He is also a licensed private investigator.
