About this Event
The Wisdom in Her Hands - The Tradition the Woman Healer
Join us in person to explore the ancient and powerful tradition of the woman healer. Discover the secrets passed down through generations and celebrate the wisdom in her hands that nurtures and heals. This is your chance to connect, learn, and honor the incredible heritage of healing women.
Before hospitals and institutionalized medicine, the science of healing was in the hands of women, who passed their knowledge from one generation to the next. Women served as midwives, herbalists, priestesses, philosophers, and guardians of practical knowledge about life, health, and the human spirit.
During Women’s History Month, we invite women to come together for a special Women-Healers Circle, an evening of reflection and dialogue, hands on experiences and human connections, inspired by this enduring tradition.
This gathering will take the form of a participatory circle, where we explore the idea of the “woman-healer” across cultures and throughout history, and reflect on what this archetype means in our lives today.
The evening will include brief historical inspirations from different cultures, guided practices, and open sharing within the circle.
No prior knowledge is needed — only curiosity and a willingness to reflect together.
This event is part of our annual theme exploring Science and Philosophy, and invites us to rediscover healing not only as a profession, but as a human capacity rooted in wisdom, compassion, and responsibility.
We welcome women of all backgrounds who are interested in philosophy, personal growth, and the timeless traditions of healing.
Registration is required.
Don't miss out on this unique and enriching experience!
