The Windjammers are not just a “Yacht Rock” band, but a supergroup of A-list musicians and singers based in Las Vegas, NV.Conceived by Jerry Lopez (musical director/composer/singer/guitarist), The Windjammers were was formed to fill a need to go back to a time in music where the songs were filled with great lyrics, melodies and grooves by artists like Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, Toto, Ambrosia and all the others that had hit songs between the early/mid ’70s and the mid to late ’80s.
To do this music justice, the band had to consist of talented musicians that sing and play at a high level. Covering songs by those iconic performers and bands is no easy task and can’t be done convincingly by anything less than top-notch studio and touring musicians with the skills and talent to do it right.
The resume of each of these six talented musicians would fill pages with names of top artists they have worked with on tour, in the studio or in the showrooms of the top casinos and performance venues in the world.
