About this Event
Join us for a screening of The Voice of Hind Rajab, the 2025 Academy Award–nominated and Venice International Film Festival Grand Jury Prize–winning docu-fiction film.
When a group of Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call from a five-year-old girl trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, they struggle to keep her calm over the phone while desperately working to get an ambulance to her. Incorporating the real audio from the incident that inspired the film, this powerful hybrid documentary has garnered international acclaim.
Sponsored by the Penn Middle East Center, Cinema and Media Studies Department, and the Center for Advanced Research in Global Communication
